VINTAGE DUOFOLD LONG JOHNS RED Size Adult XL

This is the real thing. These belonged to my father, and he wore them as part of a devil/angel costume between marriage  in 1949 and first kid in 1953.  They are in amazingly good shape, but I don't think they were worn that much.  I never remembered seeing him wear them, then again not sure that i would have.  But I know my mother ironed his under garments and I never saw these.  All the buttons are here including the one on the back side "pouch".  The material is very soft cotton I believe.  the tag says "two layer fabric" and it seems like there are 2 layers that you can almost pull apart in the whole piece.  It is machine washable, but back then they wanted you to be gentle.
Armpit to end of sleeve: 23" including 3" cuff
Armpit to armpit: 21"
Inseam: 30" including 5" cuff
